We’re looking for experienced Enterprise Applications Specialist to join our team at our Archerfield IT Office (146 Kerry Road). This is a Permanent, Monday to Friday role.

What you’ll be doing:

As a Enterprise Applications Specialist at Sime, you will be responsible for the governance, system configurations, technical integration, and optimisation of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) platform. This role will primarily support the Korber WMS platform across the Hastings Deering warehouse network, ensuring system stability, operational continuity, and continuous improvement of warehouse processes.

The role will play a key part in supporting BAU operations, delivering system enhancements, and supporting the integration between Korber WMS and warehouse automation platforms, including Swisslog AutoStore solutions.

  • Provide BAU operational support for the Korber WMS platform across multiple warehouse sites.
  • Investigate and resolve WMS incidents, system defects, and operational issues impacting warehouse operations.
  • Work closely with operations teams to triage issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable fixes.
  • Configure, integrate and optimise Warehouse Management System (WMS) modules to deliver system enhancements and configuration improvements to optimise warehouse processes.
  • Monitor WMS health, performance and integrations, proactively resolving issues and driving continuous improvement.
  • Support the integration and ongoing operation of warehouse automation systems, including Swisslog AutoStore and related automation platforms.
  • Ensure strong governance across system configuration, change control, and compliance with security and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee code changes, upgrades, and technical deployments to maintain system integrity and performance.
  • Lead testing, validation and deployment support to ensure smooth rollouts with minimal operational impact.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and KPIs to track performance and identify optimisation opportunities.
  • Provide expert functional and technical support to users, maintaining accurate system configurations and master data.
  • Partner with IT, vendors and business teams to resolve issues and enhance system capability.
  • Deliver training and maintain documentation to build internal knowledge and support user adoption.


What you’ll need:

A successful teammate will have experience in:

  • Degree qualified in Information Technology
  • Knowledge in Infios WMS (formally known as Korber) will be advantageous
  • Experience/knowledge of working with warehouse automation platforms, ideally Swisslog AutoStore or similar automated storage and retrieval systems.
  • Understanding of WMS integrations with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics AX).
  • Experience working with RF warehouse processes, picking automation, and system-driven warehouse workflows.
  • Relevant level of experience within a similar role, with at least 5 years in leadership overseeing enterprise applications, business process alignment or functional support teams
  • Strong functional experience
  • Proven experience in application lifecycle management
  • Demonstrated ability to lead geographically and culturally dispersed teams
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
